Unlock Every Banandium Gem in The Divide Layer of Donkey Kong Bananza – Complete Guide Inside!

Where to Find All Banandium Gems in The Divide Layer of Donkey Kong Bananza

If you’re diving into Donkey Kong Bananza and tackling The Divide—the fourth layer filled with pink and blue goo—then you’ll want to know exactly where to find all the Banandium Gems (those shiny golden bananas). This level is pretty short, so it’s easy to zoom through and miss some gems hidden in tricky spots. Plus, The Divide offers a cool choice after you finish: head to the Freezer Layer or the Forest Layer next?

Banandium Gem Locations in Sublayer 400

There are 10 Banandium Gems to collect here. Let’s break down where to find each one:

#1: Stomped Stompenclomper!

First, defeat the Stompenclopper in the Canyon Layer. Then jump into the hole nearby to land close to a gem worth five bananas. Easy start!

#2: A Switcheroo Boost

At the end of the bridge, look down over the edge to spot an outcropping leading to the Ancient Ruin. Drop down and enter. Here, breaking pink goo creates blue goo and vice versa. Break enough pink goo straight ahead to make a climbable blue path that leads to a gem on the platform.

#3: A Switcheroo Breakthrough

Head to the backside of the level. Smash some pink goo on the left to create a climbable wall on the right, then smash pink goo on the right to climb up on the left side. You’ll find a stone wall on the left corner of the blue goo patch—destroy the bottom layer of pink goo to build a blue goo bridge, punch through the wall, and grab your gem inside.

#4: A Masterful Switcheroo Maneuver

Climb to the top and punch enough pink goo at the center to form a blue goo platform beneath you. Make it high enough to get under the cage holding the gem. Aim for just above the middle of the pink goo for perfect height.

#5: Divide Quiz Master

Facing away from the Teeleporter, look up and right to find the Quiz Master on a floating platform. Throw a chunk at him to bring him down, then answer his quiz to earn a gem. Need help? Here are the answers:

  • What do some of the salvager monkeys have attached to their fishing lines? A magnet
  • What was running wild inside the Banandium Refinery? A mixer
  • What gets restored when you sit on a chair or bench? Health

#6: Switcheroo Through the Wall

From the Teeleporter, go right and jump down onto a platform with pink goo. Smash it to form a blue stairwell on the other side of the wall. Climb back up, drop off the opposite side, climb the stairs, and grab the gem.

#7: Safe-Landing Switcheroo

Facing the Teeleporter, walk to the map’s left edge, then turn right and drop down a step. Look left over the edge to spot another platform you can drop to. Climb along the ceiling, smashing pink goo to form blue platforms, and reach your banana.

#8: Battle: Uproot the Brute

Walk past the Teeleporter on either side to drop into a secret area. Follow goo paths to an Ancient Ruin, complete the battle course by pulling turnips, and defeat the Crockoid to earn your banana.

#9: Cranky’s Divide Rant

Destroy the pink goo cube next to the Teeleporter to create a climbable blue wall. Climb up to the platform above and look up to see a floating platform. Toss a chunk at it to lower it and find Cranky Kong. Listen to his rant to get a Banandium Gem.

#10: Decked Out in Animal Print (Post-Game Banana)

This gem is only available after beating the main story. Talk to Glamtone while Donkey Kong’s fur is dyed Monochrome Gradient (from the Groove Layer) and he’s wearing Traction Britches (from the Canyon Layer) to claim this special banana.

Next Steps After The Divide

Once you’re done, you can choose between the Freezer Layer or the Forest Layer. Don’t worry—you’ll need to complete both eventually, and you can backtrack and swap routes anytime. So pick whichever you want first and keep collecting those bananas!
