Using Ancient Bananza Powers
To transform, gather Bananergy by collecting gold or eating certain fruits. When you have enough, simply press the L and R buttons simultaneously to switch forms wherever you are. You can also cycle through your unlocked Bananza forms using the left or right arrow on your D-pad. This makes it easy to adapt your gameplay style on the fly.

Kong Bananza
This is the first transformation you’ll unlock early in the Lagoon Layer (101). Turning into Kong makes Donkey Kong stronger and able to punch through tough walls and enemies. It’s perfect for quickly smashing obstacles and clearing out foes.
Zebra Bananza
Found in the Freezer Layer (501), the Zebra Bananza lets Donkey Kong run on water and ice without slipping. This form moves faster and can charge through enemies, making it handy for icy terrains and quick escapes. You’ll encounter a choice between the Freezer and Forest Layers, but you’ll need to complete both to progress.
Ostrich Bananza
Unlock this in the Forest Layer (600). Ostrich Bananza grants Donkey Kong the ability to glide through the air for short distances. You can upgrade this skill to flutter longer and even drop egg bombs on enemies, adding a fun aerial attack option.
Elephant Bananza
Deep into the game, in the Tempest Layer (900), you unlock Elephant Bananza. This transformation lets you suck up chunks of terrain—including lava—and spit them back out as projectiles. Skill upgrades increase how many chunks you can store, how fast you collect them, and widen your inhaling radius.
Snake Bananza
The final form unlocks in the Radiance Layer (1201). Snake Bananza is all about vertical movement: you can hold the jump button to super jump and even double jump to reach high platforms.
