Unlock Massive Stardust & Meet New Hisuian Pokémon in Pokémon Go’s Ultra Unlock Event!

Pokémon Go Ultra Unlock Hisui Celebration Event Guide

Get ready Trainers! The Ultra Unlock Hisui Celebration event in Pokémon Go kicks off from July 8 to 13, bringing exciting bonuses and brand-new Pokémon from the Hisui region. This event is all about boosting your Stardust and XP gains, encountering rare Hisuian forms, and diving into space-time distortions that shake up your usual catches.

  • Quadruple Stardust and XP from catches
  • Debut of Hisuian Zorua and Hisuian Zoroark
  • Space-time distortions with rotating Pokémon spawns
  • New Collection Challenges and Field Research tasks
  • Special raid line-up featuring Hisuian Pokémon

Quadruple Stardust and XP – Catch ‘Em All and Level Up Fast

One of the biggest draws of this event is the quadruple multiplier on both Stardust and XP earned from catching Pokémon. This means every catch counts way more than usual, making it the perfect time to power up your Pokémon and stockpile Stardust.

Meet Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark

Keep an eye out for Hisuian Zorua — it’s making its first appearance in Pokémon Go! This sneaky Pokémon disguises itself as your buddy Pokémon, so if you spot a familiar face acting suspiciously, it might just be Hisuian Zorua in disguise. Evolve it into Hisuian Zoroark to complete your collection.

Space-Time Distortions: What You Need to Know

During the event, space-time distortions will occur roughly every few hours, lasting about an hour each. These distortions bring out unique Pokémon spawns that change with each distortion, making the gameplay dynamic and unpredictable. Each distortion tends to start at the top of the hour, but exact timings can vary, so it’s best to check your game regularly for these special windows.

Collection Challenges – Catch and Evolve for Rewards

There are three main Collection Challenges running throughout the event:

  • Hisui Celebration Catch Challenge: Space-Time Distortion – Catch Magnemite, Rowlet, Cyndaquil, Oshawott, Cranidos, and Shieldon. Rewards include a Hisuian Avalugg encounter, 5,000 XP, and 2,500 Stardust.
  • Hisui Celebration Collection Challenge: Shock, Flame, and Spike – Catch and evolve Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Growlithe, and Hisuian Qwilfish (evolution requirement reduced to winning just one raid with it as your buddy). Rewards are a Hisuian Zorua encounter, 5,000 XP, and 2,500 Stardust.
  • Hisui Celebration Collection Challenge: Evolution in Flight – Catch and evolve Starly into Staraptor, and Zubat into Crobat. Rewards also include a Hisuian Zorua encounter, 5,000 XP, and 2,500 Stardust.

Field Research Tasks and Rewards

Spinning PokéStops during the event might give you these tasks:
