How Do Team-Ups Work in Marvel Rivals?
There are currently 21 Team-Up abilities in Marvel Rivals as of Season 3. Each Team-Up is unique but the core idea is simple: pairing certain heroes together unlocks special active or passive effects that boost your team’s performance. You can see which heroes pair up during character selection — just look at the center of your screen!
Some Team-Ups provide passive bonuses, like Hela’s Ragnarok Rebirth, which can resurrect Thor or Loki mid-fight or boost their health if they’re alive. Others, such as Luna Snow’s Chilling Assault, grant new active moves to the anchor or secondary heroes. Since Season 2, these Team-Ups also grant passive bonuses to the primary hero, like extra healing, health, or damage.
While you don’t need Team-Ups to win, they are incredibly powerful and worth mastering. Learning multiple heroes in your preferred role lets you adapt and support allies with Team-Ups whenever possible.
