Developer Digital Extremes is teaming up with Paizo Games, the creators of Pathfinder, to launch a brand-new tabletop RPG module based on Warframe. This exciting collaboration uses Paizo’s sci-fi RPG system, Starfinder, to deliver a fresh, standalone adventure called Warframe x Starfinder: Operation Orias, set to launch in October 2025.

From Digital to Tabletop: A Perfect Match
The collaboration came naturally from a shared passion. As Warframe’s creative director Rebecca Ford put it during a preview event, “This is just from mutual love and respect and camaraderie. We had a conversation with them, and next thing you know we were making a Warframe official TTRPG module.” The announcement dropped at TennoCon 2025, Digital Extremes’ yearly celebration of all things Warframe.
Paizo’s Starfinder is a sci-fi twist on their famous Pathfinder system, which is mostly known for fantasy settings. Starfinder is a rules-rich RPG designed for space adventures, making it a natural fit for Warframe’s complex gameplay, full of interlocking systems, skill trees, and abilities.
Try It Out in Person at Gen Con 2025

Paizo will offer a limited preview of the module at Gen Con, held in Indianapolis from July 31 to August 3, 2025.
