Where to Find Blueberries in Grounded 2

The most reliable spot to grab blueberries is on the picnic table. It’s a bit tricky to get up there early in the game, but it’s worth it for the blueberry haul and to complete your Omni-Tool axe upgrade requirements all at once. Start by climbing the picnic blanket using your buggy. Don’t waste time fighting the O.R.C Weevils on the way—they explode and deal serious damage.

Once you reach the seat, head right and crawl under the cloth. Ignore the Orb Weaver Jr., and carefully cross the bar to the other side. You’ll spot a briefcase and some small roaches. Defeat the roaches to collect roach chunks, which are also needed for your axe upgrade.

Next, enter the cooler and follow the path up to the top, exiting via a popsicle stick. This will place you on the tabletop where the tablecloth creates a small cave. Inside this cozy spot, you’ll find a limited number of blueberries ready for picking.

Another Blueberry Spot – Watch Out!

If the picnic table seems too risky, you can also find blueberries along the map’s southeastern edge. This area is south of the ice cream cart ranger station and northeast of Pebble Village Lunchbox. But heads up—this zone is guarded by an anonymous hacker who warns you to stay away from their berries and robot bug soldiers. Naturally, you can ignore the threats but proceed carefully.

Most of the O.R.C robot bugs here are standard enemies similar to a smaller northern scorpion. However, there’s also a bumblebee protecting the bushes, and it’s tough to beat with the gear you probably have right now. To avoid attracting its attention, stick to harvesting berries near the hedge’s edge.

Use your bow and arrow to shoot berries down, then chop them with your Omni-Tool’s axe. Each berry gives several chunks, but be careful—they tend to roll and might end up in enemy sightlines.

How to Make Blueberry Leather

After collecting your blueberry chunks, head to the nearest ranger station and analyze them at the resource analyzer. This unlocks the recipe for blueberry leather at your workbench, along with some other useful crafting options. It takes three blueberry chunks to craft one piece of leather.

You’ll need just two pieces of blueberry leather to upgrade your Omni-Axe, but if you’re aiming to craft a lot of ladybug armor, be prepared for plenty of berry harvesting sessions.

In the first Grounded game, there was a jerky rack where you could dry fruits and get one leather piece per berry chunk. So far, this hasn’t been found in Grounded 2, but we’ll update if it appears.
